Round Hill has established a successful pan-European student housing platform, with a portfolio of direct-let student accommodation assets in key gateway European cities. Our approach incorporates multiple strategies, such as acquiring existing assets, developing new build assets, forward-purchasing assets and repositioning non-student assets.

We own and operate one of Europe’s leading student housing companies, The Nido Collection. The Nido Collection consistently sets new standards in the market by re-developing student housing assets. The Nido Collection has rapidly established itself as an experiential brand that is globally recognised by educational institutions and students alike, providing residents with exemplary facilities, quality services and a year-round events programme that engages and inspires.

Alternative Accommodations

As an accommodation specialist, Round Hill is leading the way in institutionalising the real estate accommodation sector. Given our operating capabilities, and in-depth knowledge of the industry, Round Hill looks to invest in alternative accommodations, including hostels, co-living properties, modular housing units and senior living residences. These investments enable us to create a unique residential proposition for the next generation of buyers and renters.

As part of this programme, the firm has built up a diversified European light industrial asset portfolio that offers both stabilised income elements and higher performing repositioning and development opportunities. We are currently managing 18 well-located assets spanning approximately 326,000 sqm across Norway, Sweden and Denmark. This provides Round Hill with both geographic coverage and tenant diversification across a range of industries and we continue to look in the market for other investments with similar value characteristics.
