Round Hill Capital completes the acquisition of three Dutch residential property portfolios totalling 1,934 units for a combined value of approximately eur 187 million.

The two vendors were Staalbankiers, a private bank based in the Netherlands, and from funds managed by CBRE Global Investors. It has also completed the acquisition of the 976 unit Propertize portfolio that Round Hill signed an agreement to acquire for EUR 89 million on 12 December 2014.

Round Hill Capital completes the acquisition of three dutch residential property portfolios totalling 1,934 units for a combined value of approximately eur 187 million.

UK / Netherlands, 4 February 2015 – Round Hill Capital (“Round Hill”), the fully integrated global real estate investment and asset management firm, has completed the acquisition of two Dutch residential portfolios totalling 958 units across approximately 84,600 sq m for a combined value of approximately EUR 98 million. The two vendors were Staalbankiers, a private bank based in the Netherlands, and from funds managed by CBRE Global Investors. It has also completed the acquisition of the 976 unit Propertize portfolio that Round Hill signed an agreement to acquire for EUR 89 million on 12 December 2014.

Round Hill Capital was the first international investor since the financial crisis to establish a significant Dutch residential property business through its acquisition in June 2014 of a residential portfolio of 1,534 units from funds managed by CBRE Global Investors for EUR 180 million.

In addition to its existing Dutch residential management business, Round Hill has an established track record of managing and investing in German residential property including social housing.

Financing for these acquisitions has been provided by ABN AMRO Bank.
