Round Hill Capital hires new capital markets professional to expand its coverage across Asia

Leading global specialist real estate investment, development and asset management firm, Round Hill Capital, has announced the appointment of Jihoon Yim as Regional Head of Capital Markets Group, Asia, effective from 1 June 2022.

The appointment builds on Round Hill Capital’s continued growth over the last 12 months, with the firm raising over $1bn of additional equity for its European residential investment strategies.

Yim joins the company with over 13 years of experience in real estate and capital markets. His proven track record will help Round Hill Capital meet the growing demand from Asian investors looking to invest in UK and European residential and wider accommodation markets which continue to grow.

Based in Singapore, Yim will be responsible for raising capital, developing investment opportunities and relationships across the Asian market to inject into Round Hill Capital’s European residential strategy; helping to identify and address changing investor needs, leveraging Round Hill Capital’s unique sector expertise and vertically integrated capabilities.

The appointment follows the announcement of Rajit Dass joining Round Hill Capital as Senior Vice President, Capital Markets, earlier this year - as the firm continues to bolster its team to deepen its expertise across domestic and global markets.

Yim brings a wealth of experience in asset management and capital-raising activities to Round Hill Capital. Before his last role as Director and Portfolio Manager of Global Real Estate at Hanwha Asset Management, Yim worked as AVP and Investment Manager at Deutsche Asset Management.
